The cottage: This is a charming traditional cottage oozing with character. It sits on 25 acres of land and has shore frontage to Kilkerrin Bay . The views are stunning, surrounded as it is by mountains and sea. Recently refurbished to a high standard it is suitable for couples or a small family even an individual wishing to get away from it all. It is to be noted that Kilkerrin Bay is famous for its Hooker Sailing and the property is close to Pearse cottage. If you like to hunt, fish or just go out for a nice evening meal Screeb Lodge is 2.5 miles away. Shops petrol and grocery is 0.5 miles
Galway city is 45 mins drive. In august there is an oyster festival and in February there is an irish dancing festival. This is a real cottage and to be recommended.
Inside: Front and back entrance leading into an open plan sitting room kitchen dining area. Fitted kitchen with marble worktops fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, electric oven and hob. Oil fired central heating. And a wood burning stove comfortable suit T.V. DVD. Upstairs is a loft area with single fold out bed. Downstairs two bedrooms one double and one twin sleep's 5 people. Nicely tiled shower room. Downstairs tiled or wooden flooring.Washing machine and tumble dryer.
Several sheds suitable for wet suits, bikes, windsurfers, short drive from the house is a public slip suitable for launching a boat but dries at low tide. Pub is about a 10 min walk.
