It has the added attraction that although you get the feeling of living in the wilds of Connemara, a short walk will bring you to Rosleague hotel, and Letterfrack village with its pubs well stocked shops and restaurants. Other nearby attractions include Kylemore Abbey with its Gardens and Salmon fishery, and the National Park in Letterfrack.
A short drive will bring you to Clifden where you can find additional shops and now even a Cinema.
