Roscahill which is only a mile away has the magical Brigit's garden, a nature and heritage trail. There is boat hire or corrib ferries can take you out to enjoy sailing between Oughterard and Cong with stop off and guided tours of 5 th Century historical ruins of Inchagoill Island . Aughnanure Castle is a nice walk away from the cottage. Kinneveys pub is only a mile away and the Connemara Gateway Hotel with Leisure centre is one and a half miles away. This adorable cottage is situated on one acre, a perfect retreat after a long journey.
