The cottage: Traditional two-bedroom cottage. Situated on the scenic island of Inishnee close to Roundstone village, a popular Connemara holiday destination. Inishnee is accessible at all times by a two-lane road bridge. The house provides a secluded tranquil setting from which to enjoy magnificent panoramic views of the sea, rugged coastline and mountains.
You will find the nearest shops, pubs and popular seafood restaurants in Roundstone, which is three miles away. Roundstone is a very vibrant village and provides a diverse range of activities for visitors to Connemara including galleries, arts week, festivals, yachts for charter, day trips for sea angling, or on the traditional sailing hooker the Truelight. Inishnee and the Roundstone area are ideal for cycling and walking; or those who feel energetic can climb Errisbeg mountain which overlooks Roundstone to take in the breathtaking views. Wonderful sandy beaches such as Gurteen, Dogs Bay and the Coral Strand are a short drive away, as is the 18-hole Connemara Golf Club.
Inside: Two bedrooms, sleeps 5, two double, and one single. Sitting/dining room with solid fuel burning stove. Oil fired central heating. Comfortable chairs, tiled slate floors, T.V., Video and Stereo. Fitted country kitchen with gas cooker, washing machine, dryer, microwave and fridge freezer. Bathroom with bath and shower.
Linen and towels included. Oil, electricity and supply of fuel for stove all included.
